Matching funds Double your Donation

LOVE needs your prayers and financial help. Our sponsorship program is doing well, but we are having a very difficult time providing funds to the nearly 200 families who receive scholarships and/or rice. We also try to help with emergency and medical needs.

With the present financial crisis in the world, one of our supporters has taken a step in faith and has pledged to match all donations to our general needs to help these families for the rest of this year. This means that every dollar you donate will be matched, giving LOVE $2.00. (Luke 6:38 NKJV) "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

Every little bit helps. Your $10 becomes $20, $50 becomes a $100, etc.

Your help is urgently needed.

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $25 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $25 a month or the whole family for $40 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

LOVE was honored by visits from two Vietnamese Churches. One group was from a church from Springvale South Victoria, Australia, and one was from Oklahoma City.

We were blessed and much encouraged by their visit. It is easy to become discouraged here with so many needs and so many desperate families. We always feel strengthened by people God sends to visit us.

Below are pictures of a computer and computer desk their donations purchased for Philip’s House.

Most of the boys were in class when we delivered the computer. There are 7 boys in this house.

Student House Sponsors needed

We still need sponsors for the girls in Mary’s House, Rebecca’s House and Sara’s House. You can sponsor the girls in these houses for $80 a month; however, if possible, Rebecca’s House could use more because of their high rent. We would like to provide money for rent & utilities with an additional $10 - $20 going to a saving fund to help supply Bible training materials & classes as well as for outreach to the lost.

About me:

Though there are only my mother and me in our family, our lives are very difficult. My mother works very hard to earn a living and try to support me. Everyday, she vendors on the streets to sell lottery tickets. Still she only could earn enough to pay for the rent room ($28). To earn extra income for our living, she collects bottles, paper and bags for recycling therefore I do not have funds for books, school supplies and classes needed to prepare for graduation exams and university entrance exams. I love my mother a lot. She is weak and has many diseases in her body but she still works hard to provide for me. It is my motivation to keep trying at school hoping that I can repay her and fulfill the duty of a child some day. I dream that I will be able to finish my high school, go to the university; and get a god job afterward so I can get my mother a better house than our rented room now.

I am easy-going and friendly. My teachers and friends at school help me a lot. I like literature the best and I always fulfill all my tasks at school. I always listen, share with my friends and help each other to do better in our study
