May ...is the last month we will provide rice to about 40 families; many are handicapped and/or elderly. We will discontinue our scholarship children in June after we receive report cards for 2 months. At the end of August we will evaluate how many will continue receiving scholarships and if we can help them with uniforms and/or text books. The most important thing is donations made to unsponsored children. We are already receiving many new applications for next year. |

| Sponsors Needed Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors. To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $25 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang. PLEASE HELP Share your love and faith These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $25 a month or the whole family for $40 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them. **Special request** Phung accepted Jesus some weeks ago. With Jesus came joy and hope. She has an abusive husband who has affairs with both men and women. She had nobody to share with before working for us. Her husband forced her to stop working for us or he would divorce her and take her little daughter away forever. Please pray that God will protect her and help her to show love to her husband and win him by her life. |

About me: When I was just born, my father left us because my family was too poor so. He left 2 children to my mother to bring up. Growing up, I can see my mother’s great effort, energy, exertion, and zeal to bring my sister and me up but I cannot do anything to help her. Whenever it rains heavily, we have to move to our neighbor’s house because ours is leaky everywhere. I promise myself that I will try my best to study well to have good job to help my mother.
