But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Children in several of SCP’s Children’s Homes were blessed by Jedda and Mikey, volunteers from Australia.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $30 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

To all sponsors: I know many of you are busy, and that often as parents we can allow ourselves to get so busy and neglect our spouse and children. We see too many of the children grateful for the financial help, but sad because they seldom or never get a letter from their sponsor. They see many of the others reading their letters, but they write most months and seldom get a response.

They need your encouragement and love. You have an opportunity to make a difference in their lives, not just by finances, but emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Your letters give hope and encouragement. Please write often to your sponsored child. You can email a short letter to us, and we will translate and give it to the child. Pictures are received with much joy and are put in a place of honor in the home.

It is late to mail a Christmas card, but you can email a scanned one or create one and email. If you send an electronic one, be sure it can be downloaded or copied.

About me: My family is a big one and it is one of poor family in my local ward. We have been borrowed land from the local government to build a temporary house. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
