But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Tet is Past!

February was a welcome break for LOVE and the staff. As you know, we gave stipends to all our children for January and February before Tet. This means we did not see most of the children in February.

Our staff returned to work on February 10 and we spent most of the rest of February sorting school reports, translating letters, visiting some new applicants, and visiting some of our sponsored children, especially to check on some whose financial situation has improved to determine if they need continued help and how much.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $25 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. For more information about these children or an application form, you can also contact Reggie, who lives in Danang.

Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

These children urgently need sponsors who will support a child for $25 a month or the whole family for $40 a month, and will pray for them, write and encourage them.

Nguyen Cong Duong (on the right), his brother and father. His father lost 2 arms due to an electrical accident at work. His mother, born with one kidney, which is now failing, must go to the hospital 3 times a week for dialysis.

Vo Thanh Duong is malnourished. Above, LOVE donated a box of milk. He has an older brother and his father. His mother died in January. The father lost his lower arm in an accident and is an unskilled worker. He is now sponsored.

(Psa 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.
