But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

Spring Is Here!

Two days after my last newsletter the temperature jumped from a low of 16^oCto a high of 32^o in one day and we have seen bright sunshine and 23-33^o C most days since.

My family spent a wonderful Easter joining a sunrise service with the international Church in the mountains near Hai Van Pass, north of Danang. After the service we had breakfast, and the children, Chi and some other adults went wading in a mountain stream (see pictures below).

Next, the children dyed eggs, then we had a worship service and lunch. After lunch, the children had an Easter egg hunt.

Sponsors Needed

Right now, there is a needy child living in poverty who is waiting for a caring person like you. We have many children who need sponsors.

To see these children or to fill out an application go to our web site by clicking child. Without your help, many of these will not finish school. For just $25 a month you can see that the child you choose will break the cycle of poverty by getting a good education, better food, clothing, and shelter. Please pray that we can find sponsors for all our children and put your prayers to work by sharing the need with your church, Sunday School Class, civic club, etc.

About me:
My father deserted us long time ago. My mother is a farmer and she has to wake up very early in the morning to sell vegetables and goes back home in the late evening. Three of us, normally, after finishing school help my mother to pull the weeds and plant vegetables. But we can do nothing in the raining season as most of our crop is damaged by the heavy rains.
