School Materials Distribution
 |
As we do every year, L.O.V.E. was delighted to provide school
materials to children in our sponsorship program this July. More than 160
packages were delivered directly to students and their siblings, helping them
prepare for the new school year with greater confidence and excitement.
Each package included essential school supplies such as textbooks,
notebooks and stationery, school uniforms, and helmets.
Seeing the children’s bright smiles as they received their new
school materials was truly heartwarming. We hope these little gifts will
encourage them to study well, enjoy their school days, and keep moving
forward toward their dreams.

RECENT HOPE FUND ACTIVITIES
Meals & Gifts for Children in
Mountainous Areas
This summer, LOVE sent help to several churches in poor and
remote mountainous communities across Central Vietnam to support their Summer
Bible Camp for children. The support included gifts of sweets and small
wristwatches, as well as funding for nutritious meals for ethnic minority
children attending the camps.

Around 1,000 gifts were distributed, bringing countless
smiles and indescribable joy to the children. For many of them, school is far
from home, so they spend the whole day there. Their meals are often very
simple, sometimes only plain rice or dry bread. This support gave them the
opportunity to enjoy a proper meal, receive learning materials, and take part
in age-appropriate Bible activities in a joyful and caring environment.

For children in remote and mountainous communities,
opportunities like this are especially meaningful. Beyond the gifts and
meals, the program provides a safe place for them to learn, connect with
others, and feel encouraged and cared for.

In addition, we donated 50 gifts containing sweets,
small wristwatches and notebooks to CIFA (Center for International
Foreign Affairs). In cooperation with local police, these gifts were
given to disadvantaged students who are working hard to overcome their
difficult circumstances in Bac Tra My.
We are deeply grateful to all the generous donators whose
kindness has made these activities possible.

House Repairs
This summer, thanks to a generous donation from Barnabas Aid,
LOVE was able to provide house repair support to two ethnic minority families
living in the mountainous areas of Quang Ngai.
For one family of four, part of their house had been damaged by
a landslide, making daily life unsafe. The damaged area was repaired with a
solid, level concrete floor, along with a new bamboo fence.

The other family had been living in a dark, damp, and unstable
wooden house. Their home has now been rebuilt with stronger materials. It may
not be the most beautiful house, but it is safe, warm, and much more
comfortable for the family as they prepare for the coming rainy season.

MY FAMILY:
I live with my mother and two brothers. After my father passed
away a few years ago, my mother became the sole breadwinner, responsible for
all our living expenses and school fees. She works as a farmer, which is
physically demanding and provides a very unstable income. My eldest brother
works at a small woodworking workshop, but his income is only enough to
support himself. Life has been very difficult for our family, yet my mother
continues to work tirelessly every day so that my younger brother and I can
stay in school and hold on to hope for a better future.
MY STUDY:
After this summer, I will be a third-year student majoring in
E-Commerce. I always study hard and strive to improve myself because I hope
to become a Sales Executive in the future and earn a stable income to support
my family. However, tuition fees and living expenses are quite high, and my
family is struggling to cover these costs. I sincerely hope to receive
sponsorship so that I can fully concentrate on my studies without placing an
additional burden on my family. Your support would mean a great deal to me
and give me the opportunity to continue my education and work toward
achieving my goals.
