L.O.V.E.'s Note: This boy comes from an ethnic minority family living in a poor and remote village in Central Vietnam. His parents are farmers with unstable income, making it difficult to support both daily needs and education for him and his sister, who is in grade 7. Now in grade 9, he is a hardworking and eager student who sometimes helps his parents with farming and collecting scraps to earn extra income. Despite his efforts, the family struggles to cover school expenses, putting him at risk of leaving school early. A HOPE scholarship could help him stay in school and continue working toward a better future.
