MY FAMILY:

There are three people in my family: my parents and me. We live in a poor mountainous area where there are very few job opportunities. Both of my parents are farmers. After a motorbike accident, my mother suffered a herniated disc and has been in constant pain ever since. She can no longer do heavy work and must stay at home. As a result, my father has become the sole breadwinner, but his health is also weak. His income is unstable and not enough to cover our basic living expenses and my high tuition fees.

MY STUDY:

I am currently a second-year student majoring in Oriental Studies at university. I have a deep passion for Korean culture and people, and Korean is the language I love the most. I strongly believe that education is the key to improving both myself and my family's situation. However, due to my family's financial difficulties, I worry that I may not be able to continue my studies. I sincerely hope to receive support so that I can stay in school and pursue my dream.
