MY FAMILY:

My parents recently divorced, and my father is no longer taking care of us financially. My mother is a farmer with very weak health, suffering from kidney stones and colon cancer, and she now has to be the main breadwinner to support four of us who are still in school. My oldest sister and I are studying at universities with high tuition fees, while the other two siblings are in elementary and high school. This is a very big financial burden for my mother, and our family really needs a helping hand.

MY STUDY:
I come from a very poor area and belong to the Hmong ethnic group. I am passionate about helping others, which is why I chose to study Social Work, and I hope to become someone who can support and improve the lives of people in difficult circumstances. Although my family faces many challenges, my siblings and I strongly wish to pursue higher education in order to have better opportunities for good jobs and to improve our family's future. I sincerely ask for your support.
