L.O.V.E.'s Note:
Hien is the eldest of three children in an ethnic minority farming
family living in a remote mountainous area of Quang Tri. With a low
and unstable income and three children in school, the family
struggles to cover basic living and education costs. Hien is a
bright student with good academic performance, even though she has
to walk to school very far from home but she wishes to at least
finish her 12th grade. We highly recommend a HOPE
scholarship to help her continue her education.
