This boy is the eldest of three children in an ethnic minority
farming family living in a poor, remote mountainous area. He is in
Grade 8, while his younger siblings are in Grade 4 and are still a
newborn. As his mother has recently given birth, his father is the
main one working on the farm. The family has a low and unstable
income and struggles to cover their children’s education costs.
He is a bright, active boy who loves going to school. A HOPE
scholarship is highly recommended to help him continue his
education and build a better future.
