MY FAMILY:

My family belongs to the Ba Na ethnic group and has nine members in total. My parents are farmers, mainly growing cassava and coffee, but their income is very limited due to frequent crop failures. They also work as casual laborers for neighbors when possible, though such work is not regular. Currently, six of us are of school age, which places a heavy financial burden on my parents. They struggle to cover both our school expenses and the family’s basic daily needs.

MY STUDY:
As the eldest child and a source of pride for my family, I have always been encouraged by my parents to pursue my education despite our difficult circumstances. Now, I am a first-year university student, something I once thought was impossible and a dream for many ethnic minority girls like me. My biggest concern is covering tuition and monthly accommodation. All my siblings are doing well in school, and we all hope to study as far as possible. I kindly ask for your support through a sponsorship so I can continue my education.
