MY FAMILY:

Since I was little, I have not known who my father is. I live with my grandmother and my mother in a small house that has been deteriorating over time, passed down by my great-grandparents. A few years ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with heart disease and suffered a mild stroke. Since then, my mother has had to spend much of her time taking care of her and taking me to and from school. My mother works as a waitress and cleaner at a small restaurant near our home so she can be close to the family. However, she cannot work regularly, and her income is quite low, not enough to cover medical expenses and daily living costs. Therefore, at the beginning of each school year, she has to borrow some money from acquaintances to pay for my study fees. I love my mother very much, but I am still young and do not know how to help her except by trying my best in my studies. I hope that one day a miracle will happen to my family so that our lives can become a little better.

MY STUDY:
I am currently in grade 6 and have just started secondary school. Despite not attending extra classes due to my family’s circumstances, I have achieved fairly good academic results. My teachers often praise me for being bright and active. I especially enjoy Science because I love discovering new and interesting things about life. I sincerely hope to receive support so that I can have better learning conditions and help ease my mother’s burden. Thank you very much.

L.O.V.E.'s Note:  This boy is very well-behaved and performs quite well academically. He truly needs support and encouragement from a sponsor. With a low income in a large city, his mother is unable to manage all the expenses, which may become a barrier to his continued education. Therefore, we highly recommend a family sponsorship for him.
