MY FAMILY: There are five people in my family: my mother, my three sisters, and me. My parents divorced many years ago because of my father’s alcoholism and domestic violence. Since then, my sisters and I have lived with my mother, and she has worked tirelessly on her own to take care of us. My mother is a garment worker with a very small income. With four children all at school age, everything feels overwhelming for her. In addition, my sisters and I have not been in good health since childhood due to poor nutrition. Although life is difficult, my mother always loves and cares for us, encouraging us to study hard and become independent. To ease her burden, we take turns helping with household chores and go to school on our own whenever we can. MY STUDY: I am now in Grade 5 and will move to middle school next year. I find school very interesting because I can learn many new things and spend happy time with my friends. My sisters and I love studying, and we often receive good grades and compliments from our teachers. I truly hope to continue my education through university so that I can become a teacher, as I have always dreamed, and support my family in the future. I sincerely hope for your support.
