MY FAMILY:
I am living with my mother and three sisters. My mother is a single
parent and the sole breadwinner of our family. She recently started
working as a factory worker in an industrial park. However, she has
poor health and suffers from chronic back pain, so she cannot work
regularly and her income is unstable. We live in a small, severely
deteriorated house that belonged to my grandparents, who have passed
away. All four of us sisters are still in school. My mother always
does her best to provide us with the opportunity to continue our
education. However, she has to bear all the expenses, including
household costs, study fees, and medical expenses, which is too much
for her to manage alone.
MY STUDY:
I am in Grade 6 this year, while my sisters are in Grades 12, 9, and
4. My sisters and I often help each other with our studies because
we cannot afford extra classes. We also help our mother with
household chores. I would be very sad if any of us had to drop out
of school because of our family’s financial difficulties. I
sincerely hope for a helping hand so that I can continue my
education without interruption and my mother can have less financial
pressure.
