MY FAMILY:

I am living in a family of six, including my parents, my two younger siblings, and my grandmother. My family are farmers who work tirelessly all year round tirelessly, enduring the sun and rain. Our income is unstable and depends entirely on unpredictable farming seasons. Our situation became even more difficult when my grandmother suffered a stroke, which left half of her body paralyzed. My mother is the one who takes care of her, so she can no longer work much. I am currently studying at a university in Da Nang, and the tuition fees and living expenses here are quite high, adding even more pressure on my family’s finances. I also have two younger siblings, one in middle school and one still very young, so my parents are no longer able to cover all the expenses on their own.

MY STUDY:

I am a second-year Nursing student, and I hope to become a healthcare worker so I can care for people’s health. I always try my best to continue my studies despite many difficulties, because attending university is truly meaningful to me as a girl from a poor ethnic minority community in the mountains. I know that I must work harder than others to overcome my circumstances and pursue my dreams. I sincerely hope to receive support so that I can continue my studies and help ease the burden on my parents. I am truly grateful!
