MY FAMILY: My father left when my sister was very young, and my mother later remarried. Since then, my grandmother has taken care of both of us, being both a father and a mother to us. She earns very little money by selling food on the street, just enough to cover our basic living expenses. However, my grandmother is getting older and her health is declining, so she can no longer work as much as before. My sister and I are still in school, and this situation has become more than my grandmother can manage on her own. |

MY STUDY: I am in grade 7 and I really enjoy studying Math. I always encourage my younger sister to study hard so that we can make our grandmother, our only support now, happy and proud. I would be very sad if my studies were interrupted, and I do not know what my future would be like if I could not continue going to school. I truly hope to receive support so that I can have better learning conditions and a brighter future. I am sincerely grateful! |
