MY FAMILY:

I come from an ethnic minority farming family living in a remote mountainous area. My eldest sister is married and now lives with her husband’s family, while I live with my parents and two brothers. My father has suffered from depression for many years, and his mental condition prevents him from working, so he mostly stays at home. As a result, my mother has become the sole breadwinner of the family. She sometimes gets hired to work on nearby acacia plantations, but the income is very low and unstable. In addition, my mother suffers from hepatitis and gallstones, requiring frequent medical treatment and medication. With three children in school, my mother alone cannot manage the heavy burden of study fees, daily living costs and medical bills.

MY STUDY:

I am currently in grade 7, while my two brothers are in grades 11 and 5. We are active students and always eager to participate in school activities. I would be deeply saddened if I were forced to stop my education due to my family’s circumstances. Therefore, I sincerely ask for a helping hand so that I can continue my studies and have the opportunity to access a better future. I sincerely thank you!
