MY FAMILY:

My family has four members: my parents, my twin brother and me. A few years ago, my father was diagnosed with heart disease and can no longer work. He stays at home doing light housework and taking care of us. My mother is the only one earning for the family. She works as an accountant with a modest income, just enough for daily expenses. When my brother and I entered primary school, it became difficult to afford our study and boarding fees, as much of my mother’s income goes to my father’s medication. The financial burden on my mother is truly heavy.

MY STUDY:

My twin brother and I are both in grade 2. We love going to school because we can meet friends and learn many new things. I know that my mother cannot afford to support both of us on her own.
